“I will never forget the sweetest visit to South Asia.

The girls’ giggles and the kickball games. Baking cakes and swinging on the playground. Helping with homework and laughing at nothing at all and realizing that just maybe we had more in common than we thought. We had in common joy, laughter, and friendship. This home helps cultivate and provide this for these girls. It provides safety, consistency, and belonging.

It is a safe place to land and a place to call home. What an honor it has been to partner with them for over a decade.

I will never underestimate the opportunity I have to contribute to creating a safe space of unconditional love to raise up strong, confident, and courageous women.” ~ Julia

“This home is a place where little girls are free to play, grow, and explore.

Often girls are expected to grow up all too quickly, but at the children’s home SIP, Inc. supports, girls have time to be nurtured and mature into the women that they are made to be. When I visited the home a few years ago, I left with a gift I could not fully understand at the time. But now, as a mother of two little girls, I see the importance of nurturing girlhood and protecting girls from taking on too much responsibility at too young an age. The work of Sisters in Pink is so important, and I’m so grateful for what they do.” ~ Naomi
